Bursaries

As a college, we offer a Catholic education, and as a community, we celebrate the virtue of charity - helping one another when we can. Widening participation and extending opportunities to young people who would benefit from a private education yet have no financial means of making it happen, is central to our bursary programme. We also want to be able to offer a full range of bursaries, attracting families who are able to pay some fees and those unable to pay any fees at all. Equally, we want to be able to offer help to current parents, who, through unexpected changes in circumstances, can no longer afford school fees.

This is an ambitious goal and we certainly need help to make it happen. During the 2017-18 academic year, 122 students were in receipt of means tested financial assistance from our bursary funds. We are extremely grateful to those who have supported us and there is still much more to do.

College Chapel Appeal

The Chapel will soon celebrate 140 years since its consecration and it needs urgent investment to preserve it structurally and to ensure it meets the needs of a modern school providing the highest quality Catholic Christian education. We plan to invest in facilities which make our beautiful chapel more accessible not just to our own pupils, parents and alumni, but also to the wider community, encouraging use by local Christian community groups, schools and nearby congregations.
