'Toffee' Palmer unveiled and remembered, 11th June, 12 noon |
A celebration of the teaching, life lessons and joy delivered to the pupils of Prior Park College by Ronald J Plamer (1955 - 1976); AKA Toffee Palmer. The bust, crafted and gifted to the College by Gonzalo Sanchez Mendizabal (PPA 1972), will be unveiled in Academy Hall and there will be a celebratory BBQ on the Portico, with the College Jazz Band providing the soundtrack to the day. Big bash at Prior Park on 12 June, 1pm onwards... If you’re a cricketer, you may be thinking that the title above refers to a game of cricket and if you are not a cricketer, you might think that there’s a big party planned on that date. Both are correct. As well as the alumni cricket match, there are reunions for 1992, 2012 and 2020. All other year groups are very welcome to join in. |

Fantastic performances at Rosslyn Park 7s Before Easter, different Prior Park teams have been visiting Rosslyn Park to participate in their Rugby 7s tournaments, with our U13s, U18s, U16s, and U14s taking part. There have been great displays of rugby from all ages across this week and with some exciting wins throughout.The U14s even met Martin Johnson. Read more... |

Goods for Ukraine
Like many of you, our staff and students have been collecting and dispatching donations for Ukraine. We received so much that we had to expand our initial plan of driving a van to Poland, with boxes going to a depot in Southampton and then directly to Ukraine.

Charities Week returned bigger and better
After previous years facing COVID disruptions, Charities Week returned for 2022 and has been a great success. Students across the school organised various fundraising events and it was great to see the whole community get behind them. In Baines House (above), the Celebration Committee organised a charity Easter Egg Hunt. Despite a sudden snow storm the students were as determined as ever and thoroughly enjoyed it. Read more...
