2019 Mansion Lecture and Lunch

Building on the successes of the Veteran’s Lunch, the Mansion Lecture and Lunch will create a whole day event, adding value to the occasion. Emphasis on catching up with old friends and enjoying the hospitality remains unchanged, but as many of our guests undertake significant travel to attend, and with many of our locally based alumni arriving early, there is a real opportunity to give the day a mini-festival feel.

This year we can look forward to hearing from Sir Adrian Beamish (PPA 1956) as he delivers the 2019 Lecture. The title of the lecture is An envoy remembers. The Lecture takes place in the Round Room and we can also expect to hear examples of Prior Park diplomacy in days gone by.

Mansion Lecture and Lunch 2018

Saturday 6 October

Lecture in The College Chapel followed by Lunch in Academy Hall. Guests can then watch a game of rugby against Monkton Combe, or remain at your table with friends, wine and cheese. A tour of college is also available for those who wish to take part. Alumni aged over (or just approaching) 60 year are invited with partners.
